Traveling to Interstate 65 and Whats along the Way:
From Pierce House to Int. 65 is less than 8 miles. Leaving our door turn right onto Maupin, go 100 feet, turn right onto Waller, go .07 of a mile to Concord Rd., turn Left you'll be to the intersection of Int. 65 in a dash. You can be to Franklin in less than 10 minutes, as well as Nashville in 15 minutes, and Brentwood/Maryland Farms in 5 minutes. (There are back ways to everything that are listed in our on site manual for your convenience.)
On the Way: Look for the Concord Road - Williamson County Library, The YMCA, and Williamson Co. Recreation Center and the Governor's Club Golf Course. All this before you reach the Int. 65 ramp.
Closest Park:
We have a beautiful little walking park with swings, basketball court, and covered eating pavilions right off of Concord Road. Simply leave our door and turn right onto Maupin, turn right onto Waller, go .07 of a mile to Concord Rd. turn right, and less than a mile turn left into the park. It's pet friendly.
Even closer, we have two acres of land, as well as walking on Maupin Road.
Love Walking and Bicycling. . . Try Maupin Road:
Maupin Road is a dead end road with soft hills and beautiful country scenery. Many walkers from nearby subdivisions us Maupin to walk their dogs, its safe with very little traffic. From our door to the turn around at the end and back is exactly one mile. We have the nearby walking park which is more flat and has markers indicating the length of the path. It's a safe place for little bicyclers with training wheels as well as skates, and tricycles. For grown ups and regular bicyclists there are paths all over. You can hop on at the YMCA, at the Williamson County Rec Center, or take Crocket Road, turn right onto Volunteer Pkwy, and straight into Crocket Park. There is beautiful scenery everywhere and lots of parking, a very beautiful and safe location.
Traveling to Interstate 24 and Whats along the Way:
From Pierce House to hit Int. 24 is less than 6 miles. Leaving our door turn right onto Maupin, go 100 feet, turn right onto Waller, go .07 of a mile to Concord Rd., turn Right on Concord Rd. In less than a mile it dead ends into Nolensville Road (Hwy 41). Turn Right onto Nolensville Rd., go less than a mile to the first light at Burkett Road and turn Left. Burkett Road takes you directly to Int. 24.
From Int. 24 you can be into down town Nashville in less than 15 minutes, to the right there is Smyrna in 7 minutes, and to Murfreesboro in 20 minutes.
Grocery Stores and Restaurants Along the Way
If you turn right onto Concord Road, in less than a mile you will have a Publix Grocery Store with the very nicest staff. There is a dry cleaners as well as a Kroger on the hill (with gas station). There is a WalGreens right on the corner.
In the Publix Shopping Center, you have a Jets Pizza (eat in available) as well as a Chinese restaurant and a great Ice Cream shop. There is a manicurist shop as well as Great clips hair shop where walk ins are welcome.
In the Kroger Shopping Center, there is a great Mexican Restaurant, a fantastic Japanese Restaurant, a Subway, as well as a Frozen Yogurt shop. Plus there is a McDonalds and a Tacobell for fast food.
Explore the old township of Nolensville:
If you go right onto Concord Road you will stop at the crossroads of Nolensville Pike/Road. Simply turn right and in two miles or so you enter the township of Nolensville. There are Restaurants and Antique shops galore, and they are building so fast we don't know what's going to happen next. They have just finished the new Nolensville Town Hall.
There is a great old time hamburger shop called HWY55 Hamburgers,
Martin's Barbecue, another fine Mexican Restaurant called Campo Azure Mexican Restaurant, and many little one of a kind shops. There is a meat and three in the old section of town called Nana's, which has the best catfish on Thursdays. For great coffee, tea, and one of a kind sandwiches, try Mama's Java Cafe on Sheldons Valley Ave. Great hand made pizza at Amicos Italian Pizza, beside Yuno's Sushi.
There is a Farmers Market at the Historic Nolensville School, now town center. With wonderful organic vegetables, grass feed beef, organic pork products, hand made soaps, and fresh herbs. It runs all summer, into the fall.
Shopping Fun:
Cool Springs Gallery/Mall: We're located near great shopping experiences, like Cool Springs Gallery/Mall area. Simply go to Concord Road and turn left. In about two (2) miles turn left again at Crockett Road at the light (beside the Governors Club Golf course) you will pass Dolly's Parton's house on the right( watch your speed through here the police love this hill). Crockett Road dead ends into Wilson Pike at a light, turn left once more and take the first Right, onto Moores Lane at the light, and a right or left turn will take you to the Cool Springs area/mall. It takes about 15 mins. to get there because of slow street speeds and traffic. But as everything in Brentwood it is a beautiful drive.
Smyrna: Smyrna offers shopping and a movie theater location right off Interstate 24. You take the 1st Smyrna Exit and the shopping center is right off the Interstate on the Left, and spreads all the way into Smyrna. Approximately 10 to 15 minutes there.
Murfreesboro Outdoors Mall: Is brand new with all the regular shops and many more. They have it beautifully landscaped and offer some of the best shopping you'll find, and easy to get to. Simply take Int. 24 and take the Hospital Road Exit. to the left, the Mall is on your Right, can't miss it.

Start in Nolensville township for great Antique browsing and lots of fun. The French Hens shop is one of our favorites, well organized and great prices.
Antique Shops in Franklin are all in one area, in beautiful downtown Franklin. Don't miss the square for unique shops and dining experiences.
